THE SOUL OF AN PARADIS

A Story of Dreams, Heroic Vines, and a Magical Corner of Langhe Since 1600.

THE HISTORY & THE DREAM

A Dream Born in Childhood

Since he was a little boy, Luca knew this specific ridge in Loazzolo held a rare kind of magic. It was a place where time slowed down, where the air felt lighter, and where he spent every possible moment visiting the local characters like Pier. It was simply a place where you felt better than anywhere else. When Luca turned 26, Pier decided it was time to sell the "Paradis." Knowing this sanctuary was too precious to be lost, Luca and his family chose to buy it. From that exact day, Luca began working tirelessly, stone by stone, to bring his lifelong dream to life: transforming this ancient estate into a premium retreat where guests could experience the same deep serenity he felt as a child.

THE SOUL OF THE HOUSE

Where History Meets Love

Our house has been a beacon of conviviality for centuries. Dating back to around 1600, this square stone building was historically the heart of the local community—a place where neighbors from miles around would gather to dance, laugh, and unwind.

This house is also woven into our own family's destiny: it is right here, while Luca’s grandmother was living in the building, that she met his grandfather, a neighboring young man. In restoring An Paradis, our absolute mission was to deeply respect the ancient spirit of the house, preserving the original Langa stone—which emerges naturally from our soil already shaped like bricks—while seamlessly infusing it with modern, quiet luxury.

Heroic Hearts, Award-Winning Wines

Winemaking is in our blood, a sacred tradition passed down since Luca’s great-grandfather, Valente. Today, the estate thrives under the care of the Elègir family and our boutique winery, Borgomoncalvo.

Luca

Luca personally restored An Paradis stone by stone to fulfill a childhood dream. Today, alongside Marina and their daughters, he welcomes you to this handcrafted sanctuary.

Graziella e Pierluigi

Graziella and Pierluigi

Luca’s parents are the backbone of our land. Graziella tends to the vines with visceral passion and unmatched knowledge, while Pierluigi commands the hard work of pruning and earth management.

Andrea

Andrea

Luca’s brother is our master enologist. His deep passion and dedication have earned the most prestigious Italian accolades, including multiple “3 Bicchieri Gambero Rosso” awards.

Because our vines grow on extreme, steep slopes with scarce water, we practice what is known as "Heroic Viticulture." This struggle makes our grapes incredibly resilient, resulting in wines with spectacular aromatic profiles. Always looking forward, Luca and Andrea developed Vinooxygen—an innovative, eco-friendly vinification method that preserves 30% more aromas and drastically reduces sulfites and water consumption.

OUR HOSPITALITY PHILOSOPHY

True Freedom, Uncompromised Comfort.

We deliberately chose not to build a standard hotel or a simple B&B. We created grand, fully independent apartments with spacious 21-sqm kitchens and private boutique wellness features because we believe a true vacation requires space, privacy, and freedom.

When you sit on your private balcony, holding a glass of Borgomoncalvo wine and watching the sun set over the rolling Loazzolo vineyards, we want you to experience four simple things: Calm, Quiet, Serenity, and Love.

OUR CORE VALUES

Peace

The absolute silence of a hidden sanctuary, far away from the noise of the world.

ENERGY

The vibrant strength of our heroic land, our wines, and the passion of our family.

FREEDOM

Wide spaces and independent luxury designed to make you feel completely at home.
